Mimo Mukii
Associate Producer
Mimo is a producer living and working in Naarm (Melbourne). Their first feature PASA FAHO won Best International Feature at the Africa International Film Festival in Lagos, Nigeria, had its world premiere at Melbourne International Film Festival 2025, and its international premiere at the Chicago International Film Festival in Spike Lee’s Black Perspectives Program. They have produced award-winning narrative short films and have freelanced in the film and TV industry in production and accounts departments. Mimo graduated with a Bachelor of Media and Communications (Honours), where they wrote about self-representations of African-Australians in television and web series, and they have a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. In 2025 they completed a year-long Vicscreen producer placement, and they were selected for the Berlinale European Film Market’s Toolbox Programme for Producers in 2026. They were the recipient of the Screen Producers Australia Ones To Watch Screen Placement in 2026.
